The Victress C2 is a classic American fiberglass kit car that emerged during the early 1950s, part of the pioneering era of fiberglass-bodied sports cars in the United States.
The Victress Manufacturing Company, founded by Merrill Powell and Doc Boyce-Smith, produced the C2 to offer enthusiasts an affordable way to build a sleek and sporty car using a custom chassis or adapted components from donor vehicles. This particular model sits on an MGA chassis and has been part of a car collection for the past 40 years. Unfortunately, much of the car’s history has been lost since the longtime owner passed away, but the drivetrain is complete, suggesting it may have been a driver at some point.
While the car is missing glass, and the rear window was never cut out, it comes with a rebuilt 1600 engine, an extra transmission, and numerous NOS (new old stock) parts, providing a strong foundation for restoration. Find it for sale at $7,800 here in Roseburg, OR.
