Little B20: 1951 Siata Daina Berlinetta by Farina

This 1951 Siata Daina 1400 Berlinetta offers a – not cheap – restoration opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts of Italian automotive craftsmanship. The vehicle features matching numbers and has been preserved as a restoration project.

The Siata Daina, introduced in 1951, was a collaboration between SIATA and the coachbuilder Stabilimenti Farina. Built on the Fiat 1400 chassis, the Daina is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine developed by SIATA, and features an aluminum body with distinctive curves and chrome elements. Approximately 11 Berlinetta Stabilimenti Farinas are known to exist, highlighting the rarity and collectibility of this model.

This Berlinetta, originating from a European collection, has an aluminum body that has been stripped of paint but remains complete. The front and rear bumpers are missing, and some instruments require replacement, yet the vehicle is largely intact. The body lines are reminiscent of a Lancia Aurelia B20 in miniature, capturing the essence of 1950s Italian automotive design. Find it for sale at $79,500 here in Astoria, NY.
