We didn’t understand much from this ad: the seller included “McQueen owned” in the title, which was enough to pique our curiosity.

The ad features a photo of a pink slip issued by the California DOT, which we assume refers to the car for sale (the VIN is listed, but there are no photos of the stamped VIN on the car itself), plus another photo related to an old auction of a 1951 Chevrolet owned by the Hollywood legend. In short, the ownership claim needs to be verified in person.

But aside from the celebrity who owned this car in the past, we take this opportunity to comment on the condition of this car, which is extraordinary for a vehicle almost 80 years old: the interior is beautiful, the bodywork appears perfect with the paint now faded, giving the car an exceptional look, the engine bay is tidy and clean, and the car itself, in our opinion, has a gorgeous late Art Deco design.
