This is a very rare car, yet we saw a similar one in person a few years ago and were fascinated by it.
Firstly, the name: Cisitalia is a prestigious name in the world of classic cars, but this car is not part of those first models built entirely in the factory founded by Piero Dusio, but rather an interpretation based on the chassis and mechanics of the Fiat 1100-103 TV. Of course, Cisitalia had to add its touch to the mechanical part, and consequently, the car is equipped with a specially built cylinder head and a dual-carburetor kit.
The interiors feature a dedicated instrument cluster and, in this case, a magnificent Nardi steering wheel, while the truly special bodywork, characterized by the two-tone livery and a wraparound Perspex rear window, is the most distinctive and unmistakable part of the car, worthy of the best concours d’elegance. The only downside (in our opinion) is the wire wheels that, despite having a Borrani knock cap, actually seem to be of british origin. Find it for sale here in Thiene, Italy. Thanks to Kyle for this tip!
