This custom built car is a great representative of the custom cars era of the sixties. The seller says that this car has been built in 1962 from a known custom builder (but we can’t find his name in the description) and it was also portrayed on the Car Craft cover of june 1962. Often we see custom cars which lacks of a good level of finishing but this car looks stunning, especially when we realize that it’s in original conditions.

Obviously it’s not the common sunday driver but if your goal is to make heads turn, this is the right car for the job. It has three wheels, drum brakes and 450 h.p. Lincoln engine, (!!) and the seller says that it’s capable of cruising at 70 mph without issues.

Interiors are fully trimmed and padded, they feature also a spectacular “portable” TV which probably still works. Some details like the lower side lamps and the rocket-shaped headrest are exqisite. If you want to go to Pebble Beach in a different way, this is the right car. Find it for sale here in “West Coast”, with bidding at $25,000 and reserve not met.
