Former VSCCA racer: 1957 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider

ScreenShot007

This Giulietta Spider 750D (aka s.w.b.) is said to have been a VSCCA racer – preservation class. Even now it has a current VSCCA log book but the current owner never raced it, but enjoyed it driving it on the road during summer. Actually there is still a roll-bar on the car which doesn’t give justice to the line of this beautiful car, but it’s not a big defect: the whole car seems rustless and not patched, although some undercarriage photos would have been a nice thing to see.

Interiors are quite correct and typical of a official U.S. spec. car. Original steering wheel is not there anymore but there is a very nice Derrington-style unit.

The engine is said to be the original unit (the only way to know it is through the original sale invoice): the only thing that is clearly visible is that it’s a proper Giulietta 750 unit. Find it for sale at $39,000 here in Lakeville, CT.
