Highland Green was the color of the most famous Mustang Fastback of the world: the one driven by Steve McQueen in the 1968 movie “Bullitt”. Actually the movie car was a 1967 390 GT; this one for sale is a 1968 302 but we can say that the result of the restoration is pretty close to the most famous sister.

The seller says near nothing about the car but provided the online auction with a bunch of photos that clearly show the kind of restoration which has been performed on this machine.

The car seems nothing but perfect in every detail. We hate the lack of the rev counter but that was an optional back then, and very few Mustangs have one. The car is new in every corner and it’s plenty of visual and driving emotions to give to the new owner. Find it for sale here in Vista, CA, with bidding at $31,300 and little more than one day to go.
