Very dry: 1955 Jaguar XK120 Drophead Coupè

ScreenShot001

This XK120 could be a “barn find” icon. Fairly preserved, not abused, black plate: what else could you ask? The seller says that it is fitted with its original 3.4 litre 6-inline engine, and that the chassis is “very dry”.

Really, “dry” is the first word that comes to mind seeing the whole car. No undercarriage photos are provided, but from an outside point of view you can’t spot any big trace of rust. This car should have been stunning back then in its original light blue paint.

The best witness of the dryness of this car is the wood dash panel which is unbelievably solid after so many years. The seller says that this is a one-owner car: this it could explain such good conditions. Find it here for sale at $46,500 in Englewood, CO.
