It is the first time we see such dark red on a 308, after having consulted the color codes for the 1978 we found out that this color was called by the factory “Rosso Dino”.

As it usual happens on CL, the ad features few, ugly photos and a poor, almost missing description. The obly things he says is that the car is an Euro model (so why does it have the DoT bumpers and the side markers?) and that the car is a clean (not outside) survivor with 17k original miles.

Actually the car is dirty but it looks like a very good specimen. Most of all, that is a beautiful color, once in life different from the common and boring red (which, differently from what the common sense is, was not so common on Ferrari road cars until the early ’90s). Of course the engine and, generally speaking, the whole car must be deeply inspected as the hour rate of the Ferrari shops doesn’t make prisoners. Find it for sale at $40,000 here in Henderson, NV.
