For sure this is not the best looking Lotus ever made, but at least you can say that it’s very rare. Few more than 1,500 cars were made and we’re pretty sure that less than the half have survived.

It’s however a 1050 kg (2300 pounds) car pushed by an inline-four, twin cam engine which produces 155 h.p. so at least the fun is assured. The bad of this particular car is that is something like a barn find car so it needs a bit of work, beginning from the front bumper which is missing. The good, according to the seller, is that body and floors are in good shape.

The interiors were designed by Giugiaro who is always a warranty of good design, however they look like they need to be seriously refreshed. The seller says that this car run til last spring so the work to be done shouldn’t be a challenge. Find it for sale at $5,500 (o.b.o.) here in Cleveland, GA.
