This 1951 Le Mans Roadster is said to be a one family car. Indeed the owner bought it new in 1951 and got it till 2000 when he passed away, but the car doesn’t see a road since 1985 when the owner couldn’t drive anymore. After that, his son went periodically to the garage just to start it up.

This car is said to be mostly original with the exception of upholstery, redone some years ago. The seller says that the car comes with its original rear view mirror-clock combo, an odd factory option.

The body is made of aluminium so it wouldn’t give much troubles to the new owner. The engine is blocked and must be rebuild, but it could be not a great expense. This is a very nice looking car with a clean history which could be find for sale here in “Midwest” with bidding at $25,100 and reserve not met.
