We must admit that west coast guys have a special touch on german air cooled cars. This 1962 bug has been completely overhauled from bottom to top, but the owner leaved what in classic car world is called “patina”: much of it on this car. The only things we don’t like are the polished wheels: a set of Fuchs rims should have looked great on it.

Although the body has just been brushed and then sprayed with a clear paint coat, chassis, engine and interiors are perfectly restored. We indeed appreciate the decision to rebuild interiors according to the original specifications.

This dual carb – 1900 cc – engine will give many driving emotions to the new owner for sure. This car is a must for every air-cooled guy. Find it here for sale at $8(,000?) in Olympia, WA.
