This Simca 1200S Bertone is the mightier version of the 1000 model. As the name suggests (although the seller calls it 1300 GLS), it’s powered by a 1204 c.c. rear engine fed by a couple of two-throat Solex carburetors. The 1968 edition develops 80 h.p. This nice little coupè was designed by Giorgietto Giugiaro when he still worked at Bertone coachworks in Torino.

The revvy engine is in its place and toghether with the engine bay seems very clean and correct. We’d really like to have a ride in this little sports car.

The dashboard is made in pure ’60’s style. Very clean and beautifully shaped. This car is a very correct example of its breed. The seller doesn’t add much info but we think that the photos speak enough for themselves. Find it here for sale at €15,600 (today $20,600) in Monsummano Terme, Italy.
