White sheet / 2: 1965 Porsche 356 C Cabriolet

Restorable 356s have now become rare commodities, especially if they are convertibles and even more so if they are from the last series, the “C”:

In fact, this series represents the final evolution of this timelessly styled model, characterized by engines starting from 75 hp (like this one), four disc brakes, and many small improvements invisible to the eye but contributing to make these models the fitting culmination of 17 years of continuous evolution.

The seller says that the engine is original, so we should deduce that this is a matching numbers car; however, it’s better to specify this because the devil is in the details, and having an original engine makes a significant difference in market values. It is obviously a car in need of complete restoration (which, we warn you, won’t be cheap), however, the starting point seems quite good to us, considering that it also includes the soft-top frame. Find it for sale at €65,500 (today $73,000) here in Brodnica, Poland.
