“Type R1134” was the designation given to this particular model, built by Renault and tuned by italian master tuner Amedeo Gordini. The basis was obviously the Renault R8 but the engine, after Gordini’s treatment, reached the remarkable power output of 95 h.p. (SAE spec.): not bad for a 1100 c.c. engine, moreover for a car that weights less than 1600 pounds.

This particular car seem very nice and correct in every aspect. The seller doesn’t say if it is restored or if it’s a survivor: honestly, we believe to the first option.

The “meat” is all there and, with the exception of those ugly irrigation hoses, the whole pack seems correct. We think that this car can give to the driver a lot of fun, although not at a cheap price. Find it for sale here at €24,900 (today $33,000) in Ingenheim, France.
