We have already spoken in many past articles of the fiberglass era between the mid-50s and the mid-70s: in this period FiberFab was one of the leading companies.

In fact, it has created kits for many models: in the past we have published one of these kits, the “Banshee”, installed on the chassis and engine of an MGA; in this case the same kit (if not quite the same, it is very similar) was applied to the chassis of an Austin-Healey 3000, with a further upgrade.

The upgrade consists in the replacement of the “small” three-liter engine with a very American V8 Ford with a displacement of 289 cubic inches: in the worst case scenario, we are therefore talking about a power of 180-200 hp which, on this car, are definitely many.
