Seven days left and no b.i.n. price for this auction regarding a 2600 Spider to restore: that’s a quite complete car painted in blue with ice-white interiors but actually the original color is Graphite Grey, an Alfa Romeo classic shade of the sixties.
As usual for these cars, there is rust almost everywhere: floors and sills are the intended victims of the corrosion but whoever had to do with these Alfa knows that and he’ll not be scared: what really matters is that the car is complete and this particular car matches such requirement.
The front bumper is not installed but there it is, along with many other chrome trims which are not easy to find and, when you find it, they are often bad reproductions which, however, are expensive. By the way the seller says that he knows where to get an undamaged front end but we believe that a good metalworker could fix the original one without a big effort. The engine turns and look complete as well so let’s see how high will the winning bid be. Find it for sale here in Austin, TX, with bidding at $15,000 and no reserve price.
