Unsure series: 1954 Lancia Aurelia B20 Coupé

We are not Lancia experts so we can’t spot any typical sign which makes the difference between a 3rd and a 4th series of the B20 breed. Obviously, the main difference is about the rear suspensions system: much complex on the first three series. Just for this reason, it was abandoned (it was much more expensive as well) starting from the 4th series. The little problem is that this car has not the differential.

Another evidence could be the white dash knobs: starting from the 4th series they became black. But, this car is said to be a ’54: what’s the thruth?

For sure, this car needs tons of work, including the relocation of the steering column in its proper place (on the right) and many bucks to buy the missing items (which are a lot). We suppose that, if the seller really wants to sell this car, he couldn’t put the reserve price over  $25k. And even then, you don’t know when the trip ends: restoring these Lancia could be as expensive as restoring a Ferrari so….find it for sale here in Elkhart, IN, with bidding at $4,000 and reserve not met.
